Visiting golfers are welcome to experience our hospitality and challenge the 3, 4 and par 5 holes then master our elevated bentgrass greens that thrive at this altitude. AGU golfers can also participate in our scheduled competitions – Ladies Tuesday, Vets Wednesday, Thursday fun run and the mainstream Saturday events. Established in 1953, well before any of the Gold Coast Resort courses were created, Tamborine Mountain boasts a strong local membership with an abundance of tee times for social players.

About Us & Our History
In November 1959, a meeting of 23 visionaries came together to establish Tamborine Mountain Golf Club.
A dairy farm once sat on the site but after a residential development saw the creation of a Country Club those few early, hard working volunteers created a lasting gift to the community by creating a public course.
The facilities have been improved over the decades and now offer golfers a satisfying end to a great round. Long before today’s resort style gold clubs were even considered on the Gold Coast, TMGC was providing a unique experience for golfer in the Hinterland, just 20 minutes from the Gold Coast.
Today we have one of the best-presented 9-hole courses in Australia, it is highly-acclaimed and the top quality manicured bent grass greens are appreciated by all visiting golfers.
The course layout has been modified over the years and now the rolling hills and raised greens provide an experience that players find surprisingly challenging and exciting.
Do come along and try it out!
