1. Welcome and Apologies
Meeting held at TMGC meeting room on Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 1 pm
The chair welcomed all present. Meeting opened at 8:20 am.
Attendees: Gerry Moloney (President), Kevin Arnold (Vice President), Peter Arnesen (Captain by phone), John De Jersey, Katy Hewitt, Tony Cole, Simon Briggs, guest Kristo Bradley (Secretary),

2. Ladies report - transferring a third of the cost of screen doors and windows $750.
Requests: (A) Seat on 6th tee , ladies to organise with the Men’s Shed
(B) steps by the magnolia tree on the 6th to be fixed (Simon)

The following minutes have been circulated.

11. Competition: Match Committee Report:
Presentation reports on MiClub/Facebook, Local Rules, Interclub with Surfers Paradise GC, Scores on TV in clubhouse, Shotgun Starts on Saturday 8am, due to worry about neighbours complaining!!! 2027 King and Queen of the Mountain review.

16. General Business
1. GCDGA AGM meeting Wed 27 May at Links Hope Island – pennant review plus delegate nominations – Simon and Peter to attend
2. Advertising in Local Brochure organised by Alison Rip plus T M. Separate brochure placed in specific areas on the mountain catering to visitors. To be continued the cost being approx $25 a month.
3. MiClub- GA warning about third-party access to MiClub systems. To be included in next newsletter
4. Scam warning for Mailchimp newsletters with a few members (Domain site attended to) plus some members are targeted using this email address from Gerry Moloney < executivepresident2727@gmail.com> (bogus email address) and Leon Radunz. Bjorn investigating and sharing scam info with members via Facebook.
5. Update on safeguarding GA webinar attended by Gerry and John.
6. Financial information for the management committee (John) to be discussed on 20 May 26
7. Green fees/membership fees (CPI 4.7%) / Competition fees/ Cart Shed + electricity charges/
Moved John Seconded Gerry that the fees be increased by CPI and Social fees be set as follows. A new membership form to include a nominator and a seconder both of whom are to be members.

Membership fees suggested to rise by CPI.
Full membership $910 to $950 Weekday $695 to $730
Lifestyle $695 to $730 Country $600 to $620
Young adult $320 to $335 Junior $105 to $115
Visitors fees :
18 holes from $40 to $50 9 holes from $25 to $30 Members guest from $35 to $40
Comp fees remain at $12
Cart shed and electricity charges to be discussed later in the year when appropriate
8. Governance 1: vision & mission statements/ TMGC Management Committee Charter/ MC Annual Work Plan/ MC & Subcommittee Survey/ sent to MC members by Gerry
9. Governance 2: a) succession planning- and suitable member list
b) Current MC Skill Sets and sharing of responsibilities distributed by president
10. Honour Board, TV and Separate historical photo collection for second TV on PowerPoint to be shown to MC on 20th May (Gerry)
11. Complete honour board in clubhouse, including hole-in-one board (Gerry and Kevin to liaise with Kevin’s daughter)
12. Replace old carpet in meeting room with carpet squares (Kevin)
13. Repair Street entry to Greenkeepers shed. (Kevin and Simon) meeting Scott from Howards the concreter today.
14. Master Plan including future parking needs extra cart sheds. (Kylie Bennett)
And storage Shed close to clubhouse – (Kylie and Katy to investigate possible sites) -To be discussed at the next meeting.
15. Member Management and CPR group to be organised hopefully for the 20th May 26
16. Grants Update - No golf clubs were successful in either Energex or Ergon energy. Clearly not one for golf clubs. With Games On and GCBF, likely timings are mid-June and July sometime respectively. GCBF is installing a new portal so they may not be in a hurry to complete this assessment process.
17. Call Of Next Meeting and Closure
It was noted that the next schedule meeting has been called for Wednesday, 20 May 2026. The meeting was closed by the chair at 10:07 am.
